Mr. Towell Cheers On Rugby Alumni

Four Hermit Rugby Alumni competed in D-1 level collegiate rugby this past Saturday night. Three of the four played for the St. Joe’s Hawks Rugby team (Dan Deal ’11, Tom Gibbons ’15, Mike Hoffman ’15) while one of their Hermit Brothers, Frank Messina ’15, competed for the Villanova Wildcats.

The night was full of high-quality rugby and after the whistle blew all four gathered together for food and drinks at the team tailgate. The night was a reminder that Hermit Brotherhood never dies.
