Austin Society – Mother’s Club

The Austin Society is the Prep’s Mother’s Club and is open to all Prep moms/guardians. From helping out at school events to participating in fundraising efforts, we are here to support the mission of St. Augustine Prep and enhance the experience of our Hermits!

Vision Statement

The Austin Society is an inclusive community primarily consisting of St. Augustine Prep mothers who wish to be actively involved in their sons’ High School years. Unlike many other schools, we are fortunate to have this opportunity. The Austin Society, in the selfless Spirit of Saint Monica, mother of St. Augustine, supports all our volunteer members. We inspire our members to share their talents and work collaboratively to enhance the St. Augustine Prep mission. Whether you can contribute a little or a lot, the level of your involvement is entirely up to you and your schedule. The Austin Society plays a crucial role in supporting St. Augustine Prep.

Mission Statement

The Austin Society enriches the lives of St. Augustine Prep families by fostering a sense of community among others through involvement in our activities. We celebrate and support the mission of St. Augustine Prep through our assistance at school events and fundraising efforts. 

To support its mission, the Austin Society strives to:

• Build Connections: Promote friendship and mutual respect among all Austin Society members through active participation at events.
• Grow Together: Foster spiritual and social growth among our members.
• Spread the Word: Promote the mission of St. Augustine Prep through effective communication and publicity.
• Lend a Hand: Provide valuable assistance to the school’s leadership team, faculty, and staff.
• Support Special Projects: Raise funds to support special projects and initiatives.

One of the Austin Society’s main fundraising purposes is to benefit the Saint Monica fund. This fund was established to assist prep mothers and students who need assistance with the cost of tuition or just daily needs. The Austin Society follows the Saint Monica motto: “Mothers raising Sons to succeed. Mothers working together to help mothers in need.” This motto is truly what the Austin Society is all about!
