GENERAL NEWS

 

Show your Prep Pride by sporting a St. Augustine Prep Varsity Jacket! Orders can be placed from Wednesday, October 10th until Monday, October 29th.  Stop by the Prep Shop and pick up your order form today!  

 

Attention Registered Juniors and Sophomores:  Kaplan Test Prep and St. Augustine Prep College Counseling Department will be hosting an ACT practice test on Saturday, 10/20/18 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Dining Hall. Students should arrive no later than 7:45 to sign in. Students should bring (2) #2 pencils, a calculator, water, and snack as well as a fully charged smartphone or tablet.

 

Freshman/Sophomore Semi-Formal | Registration is now live (link is below). In addition to the online registration, all attendees must complete a semi-formal contract. Contracts are available outside the Main Offices in Augustinian Hall and the Forum.  Please read and return the completed contract to Mr. Sharp no later than Friday, October 26th.

Picture Day Retakes | for all Sophomores, Juniors, faculty and staff, will take place on November 27th, in Spina Gym from 8:00-12:00pm.  Picture forms from the October 9th session HERE.

Hockey |  There will be a parent Ice Hockey meeting, Wednesday, October 24, 2018, @ 6:00 PM in the Consalo Dining Hall.

Any students interested in being a part of the Hermits Chess team this year please come to Room 56, Tuesday, October 23rd, during the first Enrichment Period. No experience required! We will teach you all you need to know to learn the world’s oldest and greatest strategy game.

 

CLASS SPECIFIC NEWS

 

Freshmen :

  • Stephen Seligsohn, please see Mrs. Blystone in the Prep Store to pick up SCRIP.
  • Colin Pinette, please pick up your ID in the Athletic office.
  • Third Semester Registration will take place outside the Campus Store TODAY during the 1st Enrichment period for all Freshman. Please make sure you have your ID and bring either a check made payable to Saint Augustine Prep or cash for registration. Credit cards will not be accepted. Registration for Free courses will also take place at this time.

Sophomores :   

  • All sophomores scheduled for retreat October 31 to November 2 will have a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, October 23 at 9:46 in Room 3. Attendance will be taken. Please see Mrs. Auger if you are not sure of your scheduled date or with any conflicts.

Juniors :

  • The following students must report to the Spina Gym Lobby at the beginning of C period for Cathedral Kitchen: Nicholas Albinson, Dylan Broomell, Spencer Chidley, Gerardo Gramaglia, Alek Lape, John Miner, Andrue Nicholas, Joseph Serafine, Peter Thompson
  • There is a need for 4 or 5 students to volunteer to help out this Friday night from 5:30-7 pm.  There is a Bingo event and people often bring donations for Cathedral Kitchen and the Ladies running the event are in need of some assistance.  If you are able to volunteer, please see or email Mr. Dugan.
  • Anthony Gurcsik, Cole Powers, please see Mrs. Blystone in the Prep Store to pick up SCRIP.
