GENERAL NEWS

 

Please welcome members of the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools Visiting Team to campus today.  Dr. Lewis, Head of School at the Winston School in Short Hill, NJ will serve as the Chair He will be accompanied by Mr. Phillip Bauchan, Religious Studies Teacher and Member of the Campus Ministry Team at Delbarton School in Morristown, NJ and Dr. Joseph Bonk, English Department Chair at Mount Saint Mary Academy in Watchung, NJ.

 

MESSAGE FROM DINING SERVICES | There are a LARGE number of students with EXTREMELY NEGATIVE lunch accounts.

  • Starting April 1st, no Senior will be able to carry a negative balance on their account. Any one who has a negative account will not be able to receive a cap and gown for graduation.
  • Starting April 23rd no Underclassmen will be able to carry a negative balance on their account.
  • Please manage your son’s lunch account by using the Payschool Central site HERE (this is just for credit cards) or by sending cash or a check made out to St. Augustine Prep, to the Dining Hall

Driver Education Theory Classes: Any student over age 14 may enroll in any of the following driver education theory classes. The NJ State written test is administered on the last day of class. Classes are from 2:30 – 5 pm, except the August class is 9 – 11:30 am.

  • May 6 – 10
  • August 19 – 22, 26

ATHLETICS

 

Freshman Lacrosse | Will be missing G period today.

 

Basketball | All basketball uniforms are to be turned into Coach Rodio’s office by Friday, March 15th in a brown paper bag with players name written on the bag.

 

THIRD SEMESTER

 

Italy | Any freshman or sophomore interested in next year’s Third Semester trips to Italy over Thanksgiving or Christmas, see Mr. Casolaro at the beginning of Enrichment Period today.

 

Iceland | Any student who is interested in a Third Semester to Iceland in the spring of next year (2020), please stop by Mr. Foley’s room (41) to inform him of your interest and pick up some information on the trip. There will be a parent meeting in the coming weeks for any students with early interest in the trip.

  • All sophomores scheduled for retreat March 27th to the 29th will have a mandatory meeting on TODAY at the beginning of break in room 3. Attendance will be taken. If you should have a conflict please see Mrs. Auger in Scarpa.
