An important component of the Office of Student Life is to create meaningful relationships between the student and the school, the student and his Hermit Brothers, and the student and his world. The Unitas Program and the Veritas Speaker Series, in collaboration with St. Augustine Prep’s Advancement Department, both complement a student’s efforts toward building and appreciating these connections.
Veritas Speaker Series
The Augustinian core value of Veritas, or Truth, is one that is applied throughout the campus of St. Augustine Prep and in all that our students and community do. The Veritas Lecture Series is just one of the many ways in which the Augustinian value of Truth is spread. The Veritas Speakers Series provides alumni, parents, and distinguished friends of the Prep the opportunity to speak the “truth” in their areas of experience and expertise. The unique program affords students the chance to grow within this community of learners and raise their awareness intellectually, spiritually, and professionally. The Veritas Lecture Series is built into the weekly academic schedule through the Enrichment Period and is yet another life experience for St. Augustine Prep students.
