2010 Graduate Launches Solar Device Charger

Jason Browne (Class of 2010) graduated this Spring from the Drexel University with a degree in entrepreneurship and he is already putting the credential to good use. Browne and his business partners entered the Spor Charger, a solar-powered charger which can be used for iPhones, iPads, and other devices, in a Drexel startup incubator competition and won. They used their $10,000 in startup costs and office space to prepare the product for market, and on May 27, they are launching a crowd-sourcing campaign through Kickstarter.
