2016 Summer Athletic Camps for Fencing, Rowing & Wrestling

St. Augustine Prep is gearing up for a fantastic, fun-filled athletic summer camp series for 2016, and registrations are now open for Fencing, Rowing and Wrestling. Below are the details and registration links for each:
Fencing: A fascinating, demanding Olympic Sport, fencing teaches athletes to think quickly. It develops strength and confidence, endurance and a quick mind. Our summer camp is open to any boy or girl 12 and up, and takes place August 1-4 from 9am to 1pm in the Spina Gymnasium, directed by Coach C.J. Fleck.

Rowing: This camp will help prepare boys from 12 to 17 prepare for High School rowing. Novice to experienced rowers will benefit, with emphasis on rowing technique, training and learning the team work necessary to make a boat go fast! Campers will row in eight men shells, learning to scull in recreational shells, and training on the rowing machines. The camp takes place August 1-5 on Lake Lenape and includes lunch. On Friday campers will finish out week with a mini regatta and BBQ! Coaches Ray D’Amico and Joe Maguire are camp directors.

Wrestling: Last, but certainly not least, our Hermits Wrestling Camp takes place July 11-14 from 9am to 1pm for boys ages 5-15. Directed by Coach Billy Ward and staff, young wrestlers of all levels will learn the fundamentals, as well as focusing on high percentage scoring and developing the right wrestling mindset. Lunch included.
