Prep Sophomore Musicians Selected for Penn Band Honor

A pair of musically gifted Hermits were recently selected to represent St. Augustine Prep at the 20th Annual Penn Band High School Honors Band Program. David ‘DJ’ Lewis ’27 (Saxophone) performed in the Band Extravaganza, and Jack Klotz ’27 (Euphonium) in the Palestra Honors Band.
Sponsored by The Penn Band (the marching/pep band of the University of Pennsylvania), these opportunities are designed to recognize, reward, enrich, and inspire high school musicians from across the Greater Philadelphia/Delaware Valley region.
