55 Seniors Offered College Admission on College Interview Day

The second annual College Interview Day resulted in 55 offers of admission to the 123 seniors who participated, resulting in a whopping $2.8 million in awards on the spot with additional to come. This was more than a 105% increase over last year’s awards.

“The success of Interview Day extends beyond the merit awards and acceptances,” explained Mrs. Brooke Coyle, director of college guidance. “The overwhelming accolades and countless compliments received from the colleges during the 280 interviews is priceless.  Their presentation skills, preparedness and general sincerity during the interview process did not go unnoticed.”

During College Interview Day held October 9th in the Edith Favretto Scarpa Arts and Sciences Building, Prep seniors had the opportunity to meet and speak with admission counselors from 19 colleges and universities.

Participating schools included:  Villanova University, Arcadia University Catholic University, Drew University, Drexel University, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Florida Southern College, High Point University, Mount St. Mary’s University, Merrimack College, Moravian College, Philadelphia University, Richard Stockton College of NJ, Rider University, Saint Joseph’s University, Seton Hall University, Stevens Institute, Ursinus College and Widener University.

Arcadia University, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Moravian College, The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, and Widener University also granted admission instant decisions for those Prep students who met their academic profile requirements.
