A Caritas Request

Dear Prep Community,

My name is John Maticchio and I am doing my Caritas project on Angelman Syndrome.   Angelman syndrome is a genetic disorder that causes developmental disabilities and neurological problems.  To read more about this disease you can visit the website,  www.angelman.org.

I need your help.  I will be at the Angelman Walk on May 19 at Cooper River Park. There will be games and activities for everyone.  In addition, there will be baskets displayed for auction to raise money.   I would like to make a basket to represent Saint Augustine Prep.  I am asking for monetary donations and anything you would like to donate such as sports apparel/equipment, Phillies tickets, electronics, etc.  I will be collecting the donations at the office now through May11.   I also would like to invite anyone who would like to join me at the walk.  You can register online line at www.angelman.org.  I have been working with an angelman child named Nick and he has his own page to donate. If you cannot make it to the walk, and would like to donate, you may do so on the website or you can make your checks payable to ASF and I will collect them in the office.
