Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

Posted March 22nd, 2015

The Blessed Sacrament, or Body and Blood of Christ, is received by Catholics who have received First Holy Communion. We believe that, during Mass, the bread and wine become the body, blood, and divinity of the Lord Jesus Christ. The consecrated bread, or wafers, become the Blessed Sacrament. Placed in the chapel on Friday, March 20th, students volunteered to sit and remain in the chapel with the Blessed Sacrament throughout the day.
