Are You Experiencing Problems with iBooks on your iPad?

Posted September 9th, 2014

Recently, students have reported having issues downloading iBooks for class after purchasing the book through the iTunes Store. The book appears in iBook greyed out and the student is unable to open it. The problem exists both at home as well as at school. It is therefore not a limitation encountered on the school WiFi network.

To resolve the issue, you will need to call Apple at 1-800-275-2273. Apple is the only one that can correct this issue.

Students have also reported that after calling Apple, Apple has said that the school has put restrictions on the iPad that prevents the iBook from downloading. St. Augustine Prep does NOT put any restrictions or profiles onto your personal iPad. If an Apple representative would say this to you, please explain that you own the iPad and St. Augustine Prep does not restrict the iPad or put profiles on your iPad.
