Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian speaks to students

Don Guardian, Mayor of Atlantic City, visited the Prep and spoke to our students about a range of topics. He discussed Atlantic City economics and how the decline in popularity among the area casinos is affecting economics in the city on a whole. He pointed out that new events in the city, such as conventions, are being planned to help gain back popularity. Atlantic City is also offering tax incentives to encourage more businesses to relocate within the district.

Mr. Guardian also discussed poverty, and how proper education can break that cycle, as well as how important volunteerism is in building a community.
