Board of Directors Adds Three Members

At a regular meeting on December 19, 2013, the Board of Directors of St. Augustine Preparatory School confirmed the election of three new members for an initial term of three years. The newly elected directors are Mr. Robert Baxter, Dr. Thomas Isekenegbe, and Mr. Charles Ottinger.
Mr. Robert Baxter is a former Partner-in-Charge of the Business Consulting Division of Smart & Associates, LLP, an IT consulting practice in Devon, Pa. Previously, he was a Managing Partner of Arthur Andersen & Co., LLP, and a Marketing Manager for IBM Corporation. He currently lives with his wife Madeline in Avalon, where he is active in the Lions Club and serves on the Finance Committee of St. Brendan the Navigator Parish. Mr. Baxter also serves on the Board of Trustees of Family Promise of Cape May County.
Dr. Thomas Isekenegbe currently serves as the sixth President of Cumberland County College. Appointed to that position in 2010, he previously served as the college’s Vice-President of Academic Affairs and Enrollment Services since 2002, as well as Interim President for one year. He held senior administrative positions at Hudson County Community College, Coastal Carolina University, and Sussex County Community College. Dr. Isekenegbe resides with his wife, Patrice, and children in Vineland.
Mr. Charles (Chalky) Ottinger has had a long and distinguished career as an educator, serving as a teacher, coach, administrator, and Superintendent of Schools in Vineland. His influence in local education has benefitted the Vineland public schools, Atlantic County Vocational Technical Center, St. Joseph’s High School in Hammonton, and most recently, Sacred Heart High School in Vineland, where he served as a member of the Board of Limited Jurisdiction and Head of School. In November 2013, St. Augustine Preparatory School awarded Mr. Ottinger the Gregor Mendel Medal in recognition of his outstanding service to the local community. Chalky and his wife, Karen, reside in Vineland.
St. Augustine Prep is extremely blessed to add these three highly experienced and accomplished gentlemen to its Board of Directors.
