Brothers Win Club Soccer Trophy in Florida Tournament

St. Augustine Prep varsity soccer players Alex Clark and Ben Clark recently competed at the prestigious Disney Soccer Showcase presented by Italian club AS Roma in Orlando, Florida. Alex and Ben, sophomores from Northfield, both are starters for the Hammonton-based South Jersey Elite Barons U15 boys team. The Barons, who are coached by St. Augustine Prep freshman soccer coach John Thompson, finished in third place in an eight-team bracket that included teams from Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, North Carolina and Texas. The Barons went 3-1-0 with 7 goals scored and 4 goals conceded in the the tournament.
