Caritas in Action: Hermits co-host Community Soup Kitchen Event
The school year is in full swing as a group of our Hermit students took the time to give back to the community. In true Hermit spirit, a group of young men led by Br. David Graber, MSSCC, volunteered at the Vineland Soup Kitchen for their Health & Welfare Day.
Students helped set up tables, greeted guests, and ensured everyone had the essentials they needed. Their kindness and service created a warm and welcoming environment for all who attended. It’s a perfect example of how our Hermits live out the Augustinian value of Caritas—love and compassion through action.
We are grateful to Mission & Ministry and Br. Dave for organizing this opportunity to serve, and to our students for embracing the call to lead through service. It’s moments like these that strengthen our sense of community and remind us of the true meaning of brotherhood.
