Prep Talk

My name is James Mackey and for my Caritas Project I am raising money for the Padre Pio Shrine of Landisville, NJ so they can build a chapel. But the main component of this Caritas Project is to bring people closer to God through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Padre Pio. This will be one of two events going on at the Padre Pio Shrine.

Fatima Day

Due to Hurricane Irene this had to be delayed, but is now rescheduled!

Come learn and hear about  the Apparitions of Mary that took place in Fatima, Portugal less than 100 years ago! And pray before a special statue of Our Lady of Fatima. Her messages are urgent for our times! Invite all, saints and sinners, young and old alike! Bring one, bring all! Rain or Shine!

When: This Saturday September 17, 2011 beginning at  10 a.m.

What: Fatima Day

          1) Presentation on the Fatima Apparitions by an America Needs Fatima custodian

           2) This custodian will bring the Virgin Pilgrim Statue of Our Lady of Fatima (This statues travels the country throughout the year) 

           3) Recitation of the Rosary in front of special Statue

           4) Silent prayer time in front of the Statue, come bring your most urgent petitions, Our Lady of Fatima wants to hear your needs!

           5) Possible veneration of the relics of Padre Pio (based on availability of relics)
