CARITAS PROJECT TO BENEFIT DISADVANTAGED SCHOOL IN WILDWOOD
Matthew Piratzky, Jay Higbee, and Alex DiPietro (Class of 2013) are conducting a used book drive and a back-to-school drive to help Glenwood Avenue Elementary School in Wildwood, which has the highest poverty rate of any elementary school in the state of New Jersey. The goal for the book drive is to collect as many age appropriate books as possible for the 400 students enrolled. The back-to-school drive is to collect enough money and school supplies so that at least 150-200 of the most deserving students have a backpack and back-to-school supplies (notebooks, pencils (colored and regular), crayons, erasers, pens, glue, and pads) to begin the school year. Items may be dropped off at the Prep in the marked containers in the foyer of the Forum. If you would like to donate to this project, please contact Matt Piratzky at 609.652.6911 or Piratzky.Matthew@hermits.org; Jay Higbee at 609.625.1364 or Higbee.James@hermits.org; Alex Dipietro at 856.313.9012 or Dipietro.Alex@hermits.org.
