Class of 2015 Graduate Receives Rotary Club of Vineland Scholarship

Posted June 17th, 2015

Class of 2015 Graduate Connor Morgado was awarded the Vineland Rotary John Spoltore/Matt Blatt Most Inspirational Scholarship. Awarded to Vineland residents who are graduating from any private or public High School in the area, it is given to a student who has had to overcome adversity in life. Connor wrote an essay about his brother, Army Ranger 2nd Lieutenant Travis Morgado, who was killed in Afghanistan during Connor’s sophomore year at the Prep. His essay spoke to how much his brother has inspired him. The scholarship, the largest awarded by the Rotarians, amounted to $2,500. He was also recently awarded a Ronald McDonald House Charities $2,000 scholarship, presented at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia.

We are proud of you, Connor!
