Class of 2022 Junior Ring Mass and Ceremony

On Wednesday, March 24th, 2021 the Class of 2022 and their families joined together for the annual Junior Ring Mass held in the Rodio Gym. As Mass proceeded, Hermit Senior Cameron Compare read each student’s name as they received their rings from Fr. Murray and Mr. Cappuccio. Fr. Murray spoke to the Junior Class of 2022 about the importance of the ring, how it is a rite of passage, and that each ring shows the world that the students represent St. Augustine Prep. The night before the Ring Mass and Ceremony, the Class of 2022 were called to a Night of Reflection. They reflected on their journey so far at St. Augustine Prep and what their roles as future leaders at the Prep. Hermit Alumni, Mr. Frank Faverani ’16 shared his lessons with his fellow Hermits on the importance of self-awareness and staying restless. Finally, the Class of 2022 was served dinner by our faculty and staff as a nod of fellowship to these future leaders.
