College Interview Day Yields $6 Million in Academic Awards

The third annual College Interview Day held on October 8th was a resounding success. For the 118 Prep students who participated in the program, it resulted over 300 college interviews, 93 offers of admission from 19 colleges and a whopping $6 million in merit scholarships on the spot with additional to come!

Interview Day means more than just an opportunity for students to talk to participating colleges. It’s also a day that validates all the hard work and preparation that each student brings to the table. Mrs. Brooke Coyle, Director of College Guidance said after last year’s event: “The success of Interview Day extends beyond the merit awards and acceptances,” she explained. “The overwhelming accolades and countless compliments received from the colleges during the 300 interviews is priceless. Their presentation skills, preparedness and general sincerity during the interview process did not go unnoticed.”

Participating schools included: Villanova University, Arcadia University, Catholic University, Drew University, Drexel University, Elizabethtown College, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Florida Southern College, Loyola University, Merrimack College, Moravian College, Neumann University, Philadelphia University, Seton Hall University, Saint Joseph’s University, Stockton University, University of Tampa, Ursinus College and Widener University.
