David Carey Becomes Eagle Scout
Posted July 31st, 2012
At a Court of Honor held in the Buondonno Forum on July 20, David Carey (Class of 2015) was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout. David achieved this highest honor in the Boy Scouts of America by completing six lower ranks, earning 21 merit badges, and assuming leadership roles in his troop. He also had to plan, develop, and give leadership to a community service project, which David performed by refurbishing the Rescue Squad building in the Weymouth section of Hamilton Township. In addition to painting the building, David designed the aesthetics for the exterior of the station. (For more on David’s project, click here.) David also took part in a Scoutmaster conference and successfully passed an Eagle Scout board of review.
