Environmental Club Announces Earth Day Contest

The Environmental Club is sponsoring a contest entitled, “The Arts in Earth Day.” There are five submission categories: poetry, artwork, photography, monologue, and lyrics. There will be a cash prize awarded to the first-place finisher in each category. The top two contestants in each category will have their work published in The Daily Journal. All submissions will also be displayed/performed for the student body on Earth Day, April 22. The contest runs from February 1 until April 16. Registration forms can be found in the Media Center or with Mrs. McHugh, Ms. Sama, Mrs. Dutta, Mrs. Wink, Mr. Sharp, or Mrs. Newnam.
