Former Faculty Authors Book on Lessons Learned Working Construction

John Mahoney, former St. Augustine Prep faculty member, is the author of six books, including his latest “Mystic Isle” a coming of age tale told in eight parts. An alumnus of LaSalle University, Mahoney spent his summers as an undergraduate working construction and learning his father’s trade to earn money for school. The book recalls lessons he learned as a laborer under the hot summer sun in the early Sixties. The book is available on Amazon.
