Graduates Return for Annual Alumni Mass

Posted January 10th, 2014

On Wednesday, January 8, 2014,  55 alumni returned to campus to attend St. Augustine Prep’s annual Alumni Mass.

“It’s a tradition to designate the first school Mass of the New Year as our Alumni Mass and invite those former students who have graduated within the past four years to celebrate with the entire school community to see former classmates and to visit with faculty and staff members,” said Mr. David Zappariello (Class of 1983), Director of Alumni and External Affairs.

This year was the largest group to participate in the event which included Mass, lunch, and the opportunity for them to tour campus to see firsthand the numerous facility improvements which have recently taken place since their graduation.

“It is always a blessing to see alumni back on campus,” said President Fr. Donald Reilly, O.S.A., D. Min. “I enjoy catching up with them and finding out how their colleges experience is going and to offer the assistance of the Office of Institutional Advancement for internships and professional networking opportunities.”
