Hermit Ambassadors Clean South Jersey Beaches

The Hermit Ambassadors were invited by Clean Ocean Action and the Residence at Ocean View in Ocean City to participation in the Longport Dog Beach Sweep. Hermit volunteers spend the morning of April 27 removing trash and recyclables from the beach. Tires, signs, and pylon caps were among the unusual items found. After enjoying a morning of cleaning the environment, students were invited by residents of Ocean View to refreshments and fellowship. Students received community service credit for the event.
