Prep Talk

Hermits in Interesting Places

Posted July 17th, 2012

On Sunday, July 15, the Press of Atlantic City ran an article on the people who work aboard the Cape May-Lewes Ferry. St. Augustine Prep graduate Joe Napoleon (Class of 1988) was among those mentioned.

Napoleon began his career as an ordinary seaman aboard the Cape May-Lewes Ferry 19 years ago and eventually worked his way up to Pilot. This is no easy task, as moving from seaman to mate to captain involves new requirements and benchmarks at every level.

Joe Napoleon lives in Middle Township and has two daughters, Miranda, 11, and Jaycie, 6.
