Hermits Rowing Coach Ray D’Amico Presented with Coach of the Year Award

On Saturday, March 14th, Hermits Rowing Coach Ray D’Amico was named Coach of the Year by the Schuylkill Navy Club at the Stotesbury Mansion on Walnut Street in Philadelphia. The Schuylkill Navy coordinates all amateur rowing events in Philadelphia, is the oldest amateur sporting body in the country, and is located at the popular Boathouse Row.

School administrators, parents, alumni, and alumni parents from the Prep Rowing community attended the celebration for Coach D’Amico. Noteworthy guests included Neil ’05 and Matt’09 McPeak who rowed for the University of Pennsylvania and the U.S. National Team.
