Hermits Track Team Participates in Charity Mud Run
Posted April 29th, 2014
This past Saturday the Hermits Track team, along with students from Mr. Forrest’s classes, participated in the Goliathon. The Goliathon is a charity-based mud run. The 4.25 mile course is comprised of 9 Goliathon obstacles, rugged and muddy terrain, as well as 15 random obstacles just meant to tire you out.
The purpose of the Goliathon is to bring aid to those in need around the world. The organization focuses on a different charity for each event, with all proceeds benefiting the featured charity. Saturday’s event supported Charity: Water, a non-profit organization bringing clean, safe drinking water to people in developing countries.
