Hermits Volleyball Team Raises Money During Run for Aaron
Posted May 20th, 2015
The Hermits volleyball team once again participated in the Run for Aaron fundraiser. The event benefits the Aaron Ploch Memorial Scholarship Fund, established in 2000 in memory of Aaron Charles Ploch, an active and loving young boy who passed away suddenly in 1999 at the age of 10. The Aaron Ploch Memorial Scholarship is awarded each year to deserving students from the Vineland area. Among other criteria, the award is based on the recipient’s sense of team spirit and positive attitude toward life and school and is given with the purpose of honoring Aaron’s love of sports and his devotion to his family and friends, who miss him very much. The volleyball team raised $510 for the fund and were honored to participate in such a worthy event.
