Honors U.S. I Classes Visit the National Constitution Center

Posted February 15th, 2015

Mr. Carmichael’s Honors U.S. I classes recently visited the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. The tour began with a viewing of Freedom Rising, the Center’s award-winning 360-degree theatrical production that draws viewers into the 200 year journey of the U.S. Constitution. Afterwards, students enjoyed Signer’s Hall where life-size statues of the signees (and 3 dissenters) of the Constitution are on exhibit. A special display of one of the original copies of the Bill of Rights completed the tour. The National Constitution Center trip is an annual event for Mr. Carmichael’s Honors U.S. I classes.
