In Memoriam: Doris DiPaola

Doris (Pepper) DiPaola, the sister of longtime Prep benefactor, Mr. Lawrence Pepper, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2012.  Mrs. DiPaola is the mother of 1976 alum Mr. Alfred DiPaola, Jr.  She was active in her fundraising efforts for St. Augustine, most notably serving as the executive secretary for the St. Augustine Prep Gregor Mendel Award Dinner for 37 years.

Doris is survived by her mother, Attilena (Giannetti) Pepper, her son, Alfred F. DiPaola Jr., her daughter and husband Carleen and Robert Greco, her brother and wife, Lawrence and Lynn Pepper Jr., eight grandchildren, four great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews, and loving relatives and friends.  She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred F. DiPaola, Sr. and daughter Angela M. DiPaola.
