Inclement Weather in the Forecast

With inclement weather in the forecast, it is the perfect time to review an important policy: school closings. Whenever possible, we will provide information about school closings ahead of time. Accordingly, we will not wait until Monday, October 29 to cancel school if the forecast continues to deteriorate. We will be sending out alerts via email and the Honeywell Instant Alert System no later than 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 28, to inform you whether the school will be opened or closed.

The Parent Handbook, which can be found here, contains some basic information on our school closing policy on page 29. One amendment to that policy: We will let you know by 5:00 a.m. if school is closed, not 6:00 a.m. as stated in the Handbook.
