Les Heggan Named Coach of the Year

The New Jersey Scholastic Coaches Association, in conjunction with the NJSIAA, recently named long-time Prep soccer coach Les Heggan Coach of the Year for 2010-2011. Under Coach Heggan, the Prep won the state championship in soccer last year.  Coach Heggan holds the record for the most wins in Cape Atlantic League history.  A high school coach since 1970, he is currently in his third stint at the helm of the Hermits’ program.  He has won more than 450 games as a coach.  He will be honored at a banquet on March 25, 2012.
