Lifetime Fitness at St. Augustine Prep

Lifetime Fitness Skills is a required course for students graduating in 2017 and beyond. The course teaches kinesthetic training three days a week in the weight room and healthy living one day per week in the classroom. The goal of the course is to teach young men the value of exercise to manage stress and maintain a healthy life. The confidence of a young man is important to his success, but that confidence is also fragile. During this year-long course, they grow stronger physically. Through that physical strength, they gain confidence and release stress. Proper exercise is a skill that can help a young man through his whole life.
