Local Artist Speaks to Prep Art Students

Posted March 20th, 2015

Bill Ternay, a versatile local artist, spoke to art students at St. Augustine Prep, giving them insight into art as a career, and encouragement to explore their talents. Among his varied experiences, Mr. Ternay has worked in the art department of KYW-TV 3, as an illustrator, graphics, and set designer, for Eyewitness News, and the Mike Douglas Show. Additionally, he was a courtroom artist whose drawings have appeared on news programs nationwide. He was Chairman of the Illustration Department at Moore College of Art and Design and continues to create great works of art in various mediums while teaching at the Barn Studio in Millville. We appreciated his insight and valuable knowledge, and all students were inspired by the presentation.
