Meet the New Faculty – Mr. Nick LoSasso

Posted August 21st, 2012

The St. Augustine Prep community welcomes Mr. Nick LoSasso.  After graduating from Glassboro State College, he began his career at Hammonton High School where he taught history and coached for twelve years.  While teaching at Hammonton, he continued his education and received a Master in Education Leadership from Wilmington College.  For the last thirteen years he has been an administrator and recently retired as the Principal of Riverside High School.

Mr. LoSasso will be teaching US History I and II.  He has a great passion for US History and finds that there are many lessons to be learned from historical events that relate to present-day issues.  Mr. LoSasso’s message to our community is, “I believe that I will be able to draw on all of my experiences to provide inspiring lessons and help the gentlemen of the Prep prepare for the future while making a connection with the past. I know first-hand the quality of the staff and the emphasis placed on the value of education at the Prep.  I’m proud to say that my son is a graduate of the Class of 2008. I look forward to many thoughtful exchanges and motivating conversations that surround History classes.” St. Augustine Prep is happy to have Mr. LoSasso and we welcome him to our community.
