Mr. Jim Stewart Elected to Board of Directors

Posted October 12th, 2012

Mr. Jim Stewart was elected to the Board of Directors of St. Augustine Prep on October 11, 2012. He brings with him a wealth of information of and experience within Augustinian education, as he served for 42 years as an educator and administrator at Malvern Preparatory School in Pennsylvania.

Mr. Stewart obtained a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Villanova University in 1980. By that time, he had already been serving as the Assistant to the Head of School at Malvern for five years. He would serve as the Head of School himself from 1990 through 2006, at which time he was named the President of the school. He retired from Malvern after 42 years just last May. Mr. Stewart is a member of the Board of Trustees for both LaSalle College High School in Philadelphia and Malvern Preparatory School. He has a close working relationship with St. Augustine Prep President Fr. Donald Reilly, agreeing this summer to serve in a mentoring capacity with Fr. Reilly.
