National Honor Society Inducts New Members After Mass Wednesday

Posted November 30th, 2012

After the weekly celebration of Mass on Wednesday, November 30, twenty-one members of the Class of 2013 were inducted into the National Honor Society. This is the fall induction ceremony for the class of 2013. In the spring of 2012, the NHS welcomed forty eight members of the Class of 2013. The ceremony began with a brief talk by the Dean of Academics, Mr. Kevin Burke. Then the NHS moderator, Mrs. Brooke Coyle, explained the significance of the NHS pledge and the role of an NHS member. Current NHS member Stanley Marczyk led the twenty-one inductees who took a pledge which emphasized the values of the NHS, academics, service, and character. Following the ceremony the inductees and their families enjoyed a luncheon in the Honors Dining Hall. Congratulations to the new members of the NHS!
