New Fishing Club to Hold Fishing Trip on October 20

The inaugural Fishing Club fall fishing trip is set for October 20, at 8:00 a.m. on the “Miss Avalon,” a charter fishing boat out of Avalon. The trip is a 6-hour striper/bluefish trip, but there may be other fish biting as well! The boat has seating and room to eat inside and allows up to 80 fishermen. You can see the Miss Avalon here.

The Fishing Club has a special, discounted St. Augustine Prep Fishing Club price of $40.00 per person (plus a $5 to tip the first mate) which includes a rod, reel, and bait. Fishermen can bring their own fishing rods if preferable. Families are welcome as well!

All participants should bring along food (a lunch), something to drink, and dress warmly.

Fall is the best time to fish in Southern New Jersey and this is the perfect time to go out with the stripers coming in and the blues already around. If you have any questions regarding this trip, please contact Fishing Club President, Bill Martin.
