November Hermits of the Month

Posted November 19th, 2013

St. Augustine Prep is proud of all our students.   Our young men are involved in numerous activities, sports, and service projects both in school and off campus.  Each month, the school highlights the day-to-day lives of various Prep students who exemplify what it truly means to be a “Christian Gentleman” in the charism of our patron, St. Augustine.  These young men are designated as “Hermits of the Month.”

Hermits of the Month for November are:  senior Andrew Calalana, junior Lamont Harris, sophomore Andrew Terrels, and freshman Alan Hsueh.

These students were nominated by members of the faculty, who were asked to describe their selections in three words.  Andrew Catalana, from Bridgeton, was characterized as loyal, caring, and kind.  Lamont Harris, who lives in Sewell, was portrayed as driven, dedicated, and courageous.  Andrew Terrels, from Marmora, was described as amiable, generous, and likeable.  Alan Hsueh, who lives in Pittsgrove, was seen as motivated, focused, and athletic.

Congratulations to this month’s honorees!
