St. Augustine Prep Athletic Director, Mr. Dennis Foreman (Class of 1987), has been named to an Executive Committee of the Cape Atlantic League (CAL). This group will be charged with establishing the mission and direction of the league as regards realignment, scheduling, and general philosophy for the next few years. Mr. Foreman will join CAL Board Members Mike Gaitley (President; Mainland Regional), Scott Lodgek (VP; Middle Township), Steve Fortis (Treasurer; Absegami), and Dave Albertson (Secretary; Buena Regional) on this committee which will meet in mid-August and report back to the other AD’s at their monthly meeting.

The CAL is comprised of twenty-one member schools and the Prep is a member of the league in most sports. Mr. Foreman commented on his selection to the select committee; “It is a humbling honor to be asked to serve on this internal committee of the CAL. I believe the Board wanted to have a representative from the Non- Public Schools and St. Augustine Prep is well respected based on the consistent philosophies Mr. Iaconelli has utilized during his tenure as the Director of Athletics. I am looking forward to working toward establishing a blue print that is sustainable and practical as the league faces new challenges.”
