Prep Graduate Awarded in Virginia Tech Invention Contest

2010 St. Augustine Prep graduate Matt Flamini recently finished as a runner-up in Virginia Tech’s KnowledgeWorks contest in which he submitted an invention concept for an auto-focus camera called Focus Radio. The contest is designed to encourage entrepreneurship and provide resources to help kick-start the business initiatives of the winners.
Flamini, whose mother is the Bursar at St. Augustine Prep, is a junior majoring in biological sciences and psychology in the College of Science and Philosophy and in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences at Virginia Tech.
