Posted April 6th, 2012

In the 2012 NCAA Men’s Swimming Championships on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday March 22, 23, and 24, Brendan McHugh (Class of 2008) competed in the 200 meter breast stroke, the 100 meter breast stroke, and the 200 meter individual medley events. McHugh raced on behalf of the University of Pennsylvania Quakers, becoming only the second person in school history to do so. McHugh holds two Ivy League titles and four All-Ivy nominations in his name.

Finishing fourteenth in both the 100 m breast and the 200 m breast, and breaking a school record in the process, McHugh has demonstrated that he is clearly one of the top swimmers in the nation.

Congratulation, Brendan!
