Prep Graduate Drafted by San Diego Padres

Alexi Colon (Class of 2008) was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 32nd round of the 2012 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft. Colon was the 975th overall pick of the draft.

Colon was an exceptional player in his time at the Prep, batting .414 his senior year with 26 runs batted in. He was drafted out of Tusculum College in Tennessee.
