Prep Student Receives Leadership Award

Widener University and WCAU-TV/NBC10 recently announced the 2012 Widener University High School Leadership Award recipients. Ninety-three juniors from regional high schools were selected this year. These students have demonstrated character traits that mark them as potential leaders and future citizens of character. The students were recognized at a special breakfast on February 19, 2013 at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. Selected students will also receive a $20,000 scholarship over four years if they enroll at Widener University as undergraduates.

Joe Rodio (Class of 2014) was one of the selected students. He is shown in the attached picture along with Widener University President James Harris, as well as Lori Wilson of NBC 10.
