Prep Student to Study Arab Cultures in Columbia University Summer Program

Josh Ammirato (Class of 2015) has been accepted to a Columbia University Summer Program in Amman, Jordan. The program, which affords an unparalleled opportunity to learn about the people and cultures of the Middle East, is called Culture and History: Understanding the Arab World. Josh will spend three weeks in and around Amman this summer.

Josh has studied Arabic at the Prep for three years, and his interest in the subject has sparked a desire to further his knowledge of both the Arabic language and culture.
