Prep Students Shine at Johns Hopkins UN Conference

From February 10-12, 1600 high school students from across the United States and two overseas delegations descended upon the Inner Harbor in Baltimore for the annual Johns Hopkins Model UN Conference.  St. Augustine Prep sent seven experienced delegates, with Colan Rodgers representing Argentina in the UN Development Committee; Miles Clark representing Argentina in the UN Environmental Program; Sam Swisher, Argentina, in the Organization of American States Committee; Andrew Moffa, Argentina, on the Human Rights Council; Cristian Rivera, Argentina, in the World Health Organization; Sean Lawn as Lucius Arestes, in the Roman Senate; and Justin Richter as Joachim, Marquis de Dreux, on the French Council.  For the second year in a row, Miles Clark was recognized for his fine debating and compromising skills, winning the Honorable Mention Award for his committee.
