Rally for Research: A Fundraiser to Help Fight Childhood Brain Tumors
Posted January 31st, 2015
Did you know that brain tumors are the deadliest form of childhood cancer? Prep Freshman Kevin Eaise survived a brain tumor diagnosis and surgery to remove the benign tumor in 2010, and inspired “Rally for Research.” Held to raise money to benefit tumor research at The Children’s Hospital, the Eaise Family Foundation has hosted this inspiring fundraiser now for four years. This year Special Guest Speaker Dr. Adam Resnick, PhD will be featured along with Dr. Phillip B. Storm, Chief of the Division of Neurosurgery and Dr. Tammy Kang, Attending Physician and Director of Pediatric Advanced Care Team, all from The Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia.
Since 2012, The Eaise Family Foundation has donated over $115,000 to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia because of generous contributions from caring community members. This year, the 4th Annual Rally for Research Benefit will take place on Friday, February 6th from 7 pm to Midnight at the Adelphia Grand Ballroom in Deptford, New Jersey. The night will feature an elaborate buffet dinner, including red and white wine, a carving station, cash bar, music, and much more. Tickets are only $55 and all proceeds benefit the crucial work being done at The Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia.
