Saint Augustine Prep Announces 2014 AP Scholar Program Awardees

Saint Augustine Prep is proud to announce that 12 graduates of the Class of 2014 and one rising senior, a member of the class of 2015, have been recognized by the College Board’s Advanced Placement (AP) Program as recipients of AP Scholar Awards. The AP Scholar Awards recognize high school students who have demonstrated college-level achievement through AP courses and exams. These student are commended for their performance on the AP tests and for their commitment to academic excellence.
National AP Scholar: The National AP Scholar Award is granted to students in the United States who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams. This very prestigious designation has been awarded to: Alec M. Williams ‘14.
AP Scholar with Distinction: The AP Scholar with Distinction Award isgranted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. The following students have received this designation: Cole F. Carlin ‘14, Phillip Hooper ‘14, Brice A. Russo ‘14, Robert K. Teresi ‘14, and Alec M. Williams ‘14.
AP Scholar with Honors: The AP Scholar with Honors Award is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. The following students have received this designation: Nicholas C. Brown ‘14, Ryan J. Carlin ‘14, and John C. Winans ‘14.
AP Scholar: The AP Scholar Award is granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams. The following students have received this designation: Gregory Burns ‘14, Michael P. Henry ‘14, Joseph G. Quinlan ‘15, William R. Reeves ‘14, and Samuel Swisher ‘14.
